U.S. Jobless Claims Are Lowest Since 2008
A new report from the Labor Department shows that applications for unemployment benefits fell to its lowest point in about four years last week. This was the fourth drop in unemployment claims in the last 5 weeks. Overall, requests for unemployment benefits have fallen over 10% in the last year. The unemployment rate also dropped last month, to 8.3%.
