U.S. jobless claims drop 42,000 to 346,000
According to a new report from the Labor Department, unemployment claims dropped by 42,000 last week. The number fell to its lowest in three weeks. Analysts say that the claims are a good sign after a lower than expected jobs report for March. The report found that only 88,000 jobs were added, a marked drop. The four-week average of unemployment claims rose slightly.
