U.S. to offer 35,000 more H-2B visas to meet labor demand
On Thursday the Biden administration announced that they will be making an additional 35,000 seasonal worker visas available via the H-2B visa program. The secretary of Homeland Security said that this decision was “informed by current demand in the labor market in order to help to support American businesses.” This will help with hiring demand in the coming summer months for jobs like amusement park staff, hotel room cleaning services, and waiting tables.
