Hyundai workers at a plant in Montgomery, AL held a forum Monday to discuss unionization efforts. The discussion, hosted in part by the United Auto Workers, comes after an announcement last week by the UAW regarding a similar effort by Mercedes-Benz employees in Tuscaloosa. Workers at the panel cited the lack of retirement packages among the issues they want addressed by the company. The panel comes as part of a larger effort by the UAW to organize at auto plants in southern, right-to-work states
