UAW reaches agreement with Ford; GM still in talks
As of late Monday, the United Auto Workers had reached tentative agreements with Chrysler and Ford, leaving General Motors as the only Big Three automaker still in negotiations with the union. Union representatives have reported being close to new labor agreements with GM but said that some difficult issues have yet to be settled. Workers for GM are still reporting to work while negotiations continue.
