UAW to Campaign at Dealers in Push to Organize Nonunion Plants
The United Auto Workers is attempting to organize workers at Asian and European auto plants in the south. The UAW announced plans to pressure the companies through dealers that sell those cars around the country. The union says that the plan is not picketing. The UAW has committed $60 million to the organizing campaign, and has said that they will be aggressive against automakers who oppose the organizing.
