UAW voting on deal with Delphi, GM
Thousands of United Auto Workers members are voting today on a tentative agreement between the union and Delphi Corporation and General Motors. The four-year contract, the result of two tumultuous years of negotiations, affects workers at 17 facilities and would lower the wages of many older employees while helping ensure more jobs overall.
