Uber Drivers in New York Strike to Protest Lower Pay
On Wednesday, close to 2,000 Uber drivers in New York City went on strike citing ?unfair policies? and ?low pay?. In an effort to compete with Lyft, Uber has been cutting passenger fares. As a result, drivers with Uber only make between $7 and $12 an hour. Drivers claim that in the last month alone their wages have decreased 25 percent.
