Uber explains their split vaccine mandate for workers
Uber has announced a vaccine mandate for office workers but not drivers. The company’s CEO claims that it’s not right to put “that kind of decision-making power, on a company” as their driver and customer numbers are in the hundreds of millions. The company will instead require safety measures such as masks and open windows. The CEO says they are looking to the government to get people vaccinated as quickly as possible.
