A California judge has fined Uber Technologies Inc. $59 million. The fine was issued due to Uber Technologies resistance towards answering questions from state regulators regarding sexual assault claims. Additionally, the judge threatened to suspend Uber's permit to operate in the state if the company failed to pay the fine and comply with the regulator within 30 days.
