Uber to Give UK Drivers Workers' Rights after Court Defeat
Recently British Uber drivers have won a major victory. Last month the Supreme Court decided a landmark case in which it held that Uber's more than 70,000 British drivers needed to be grated workers' rights. The agreement in Britain classifies Uber drivers as workers who are entitled to fewer rights than those classed as employees. But, it also outlines that they are entitled to sick pay and parental leave. In response to the case, Uber has announce that all of its British drivers will be paid the minimum wage.
