The International Labor Organization reported that 31% of Palestinian workers are unemployed and 3 million are living below the poverty level. Israeli unemployment is expected to rise by 12% this year. The economic slowdown has been caused by a decline in consumer spending and tourism and restrictions on the movements of people and goods across territories.
