Legal issues arise for MLB due to delayed season
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Major League Baseball games have been delayed until the virus has been contained. As of now, it is unclear when, or if the baseball season will begin- which has led to a number of legal qualms for the players association. Numerous states have banned social gatherings which means that it is either illegal to hold games with and without spectators. Additionally, if MLB games were to be held despite CDC and presidential guidelines, the group could be liable for lawsuits if attendees were to contract coronavirus.
