Unfair labor lawsuit filed against Ithaca College
IC Contingent Faculty unions filed a lawsuit against the school's administration for unfair labor practices. The unions allege that IC failed to hire any of the full-time contingent faculty members on the bargaining committee into full-time positions for next semester. The unions have notified Ithaca College that they will strike unless the administration provides an acceptable bargaining offer by 5:30pm March 9. The offer must include plans for longer-term contracts for full-time faculty and pay-parity for part-time faculty.
