In Pontefract, England, 270 workers at the Haribo factory plan to strike over the employer?s demands that workers come in for shifts during the holiday season. Workers, who are represented by the union GMB, feel that Haribo is not willing to negotiate with them. Haribo is currently planning to open a new factory that would employ an additional 300 workers.
