Unilever UK workers in strike action over pensions
British workers at producer Unilever have gone on strike over pensions. Unilever, the third-largest consumer goods group in the world said that they had made provisions for the strike. The workers are striking over changes to the pension plan that will affect 5,000 employees. The company says that the changes to the plan will put the company in line with others. About a third of the employees are union members.
