Union, Kroger Reach Agreement on Pension
Kroger and the union representing 8,500 of their employees have reached an agreement on health care and pensions, yet a new contract has yet to be accepted. Both sides have failed to reach an agreement over wage increases. The union has agreed to cost-sharing in health care and pension, and now expects Kroger to provide wage increases that will help workers cope with this burden.
