Union Lawyer Becker Re-Nominated by Obama to U.S. Labor Board
President Obama has re-nominated Craig Becker to the U.S. National Labor Relations Board. Becker was appointed in March after the Senate did not confirm him. Becker, who represented the AFL-CIO and the Service Employees International Union, was criticized for his ties to unions, and his pro-labor stance. Opponents say that renominating Becker is contrary to what the President says about Business, and that he is not keeping his word. If confirmed, Becker will serve on the NLRB until December 2014.
