Union takes Crystal Sugar protests to stores
Workers from American Crystal Sugar, who have been locked for over a year, began picketing at grocery stores. The pickets are urging the community not to buy the company's products. About 1,300 workers were locked out, and while some have taken other jobs, they say that they want to return. The company says that they offered the workers a fair deal. The company also said that they were focused on their new employees, the replacement workers they have hired to run the plants.
