However, in the wake of a Congressional inquiry into the MLB's anti-trust exemption, efforts to unionize minor league players have begun. If enough authorization cards are returned in favor of a union vote, the Major League Baseball Players Association may potentially represent minor league players and help them bargain for wage increases.
