Unions Defeat Right-To-Work Amendment In Virginia
On their ballots yesterday, United States citizens in Virginia voted against a right-to-work amendment that was widely condemned by unions throughout the state. Historically, Virginia has been a right-to-work state, but the initiative would have solidified its status. In right-to-work states, employees in unionized companies can opt out of paying union dues.
