Unions file labor practice complaint against Montana
Montana public employee unions filed an unfair labor practice charge against the state on Wednesday. The charge claims that the state acted in bad faith when it did not pass a labor agreement the unions reached with the Governor. The unions say that they hope that if the case is decided in their favor, the Legislature will have to pass a state employee pay plan. The unions also said that the complaint was the first step the unions were taking to ensure employees' rights, and that they would consider other options including a strike.
