Unions Join the Climate Fight
On Sunday, more than 10,000 union workers in New York City joined the People?s Climate March. This march falls just two days before the climate-summit held by the United Nations. Unions find themselves trapped between being environmentally conscious and preserving job growth. Large projects such as the Keystone pipeline leave workers questioning whether to support the pipeline and promote new jobs or to protect the environment.
