Unions prod Obama toward Executive Action on Immigration
Amid dissatisfaction with President Obama?s lack of immigration reform policy, on Wednesday the AFL-CIO urged the President to take action toward aiding the undocumented workers who are often subject to dangerous working conditions. While unions are often strong supporters of President Obama?s platform, they have found his action toward immigration reform to be inadequate. Union members anxiously await the announcement to limit deportations through executive orders expected sometime before summer ends.
