Unions Protest Against Bush's Social Security Proposal
Labor unions staged demonstration in cities across the nation to protest President Bush's Social Security plan. Unions are also pressuring investment firms to stop backing Bush's proposal and drop out of the pro-privatization group, the Alliance for Worker Retirement Security. Bush supporters are asking the Labor Department to investigate whether these tactics violate the ban on secondary boycotts.
