Unions refuse to rule out action over Corus in Redcar
Union representatives for workers at a Redcar plant in Corus that was shut down in late February are blaming the company for not trying to find a buyer. The shutdown leaves around 1,600 workers without work. The union said that they are still trying to save the plant, and that a strike is still an option, though not right away. A spokesman for the company said that the shutdown is not permanent, and that they are open to offers to buy the plant.
