Unions say that governor must repeal SB5 for a compromise
A coalition of union supporters in Ohio, We Are Ohio, responded to a request from the Governor and other Republican leaders for a compromise on Senate Bill 5, which includes provisions to severely limit collective bargaining rights. The letter had asked We Are Ohio to compromise on the bill, and avoid a ballot recall. The group said that in order for the two sides to meet, the Governor must first repeal the original bill.
