On October 15th in the UK, 250,000 civil servants represented by PCS will walk-off the job. In the days surrounding the 15th, council workers and health unions will also take action. These walk-offs come in response to low wages that have not increased since 2010. Workers have actually received a 20% pay cut when factoring in inflation and the lack of wage increases.
