Union leaders are expected to put forth plans for restructuring the labor movement at several upcoming conventions. One of the major plans underway is the formation of the New Unity Partnership. It is hoped that this partnership would result in a massive consolidation of unions in the U.S and a more global approach to organizing and bargaining.
