Unions Slam Proposed Efficiency Board As ?Offensive? and ?Unwise?
Opposing views were highlighted at the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on Tuesday while discussing a proposed commission that would circumvent Congress?s impasse on the budget. Voices from unions representing federal employees labeled the proposal as a concession to corporate special interests that would award them more government contracts.
