United ESOP suit is class action
A federal judge has ruled that United Airlines employees alleging mismanagement of their stock ownership plan can proceed in a class action suit. Employees are seeking to recover the $300 million to $500 million they lost when United went into bankruptcy. The judge said that a class-action suit would be the most effective and efficient way to resolve the workers' claims.
