United reaches a new deal with pilots’ union
United Airlines has reached an agreement with their pilots’ labor union on new contract terms. They are the first major carrier to make a deal since the start of the pandemic. The deal still must be voted on by the union and later by the pilots. United has had one of the least contentious relationships during the pandemic and CEO Scott Kirby said, “It's not surprising that we are now the first airline to get an Agreement in Principle for an industry leading new pilot contract.
