Members of the United Steelworkers of America approved an agreement covering about 3400 workers at three BF Goodrich tire manufacturing plants. Though details were not released, the union indicated the contract includes safe guards to health care benefits, guarantees of no plant closures or layoffs during the life of the contract and limits on outsourcing of work.
