The pilots with Lufthansa are planning to strike today from 10am from 6pm. The airline issued a statement saying that 13,500 travelers plans will be affected by the strike and the airline created an alternate flight schedule for the day. Fortunately for Lufthansa, pilots have volunteered to work today so their long-haul flights should not be impacted by the strike. The airline experienced a walkout that lasted three days in April and cost the company over $75 million.
