UPS air maintenance workers threaten strike ahead of shareholders meeting
The Teamsters, who are representing 1,200 UPS air maintenance workers, notified the postal service via letter that it would seek clearance to strike if the company does not settle its three-year contract dispute. The letter was signed by approximately 78 percent of union members, and asks the company to maintain the maintenance workers' current health packages without requiring additional concessions.
