US Airways Sets Talks With Pilots on Further Cuts to Pension Plan
US Airways, which emerged from bankruptcy in April 2003, is trying to cut costs in order to remain competitive with other airlines. The airline is currently in negotiation with pilots over cuts to their pension plan. The union representing the pilots has been resistant to allowing further pension cuts.
