US Airways' Talks With Pilots Union Break Down
In an effort to secure $800 million in cuts by the end of September to fend off further bankruptcy filings, US Airways executives are asking that their most recent contract offer be taken directly to the union?s leadership for a vote. The request will be addressed at a union meeting tomorrow. No future talks have been scheduled.
