US Airways Workers OK New Labor Contract
US Airways? flight attendants have approved a new labor contract that cuts their pay by nearly 10 percent. The airline is trying to cut $1 billion in costs to recover from bankruptcy. This leaves the International Association of Machinists, which represents almost 8,500 mechanics, baggage handlers and cleaning crews at the airline, as the only union that has failed to negotiate a new contract.
