Less than a month after narrowly being confirmed by the Senate, the US Secretary of Labor, Thomas Perez, outlined his view for the future of America?s Middle Class and which policies he prioritizes. Secretary Perez, much like his predecessor Hilda Solis, plans to aggressively pursue violators of current labor law, actively ?support workers?, push for raising the minimum wage and for immigration reform, and enforce company adherence to the new healthcare mandates.
