Using two plans helps workers save: study
A new study finds that workers who contribute to both 401(k) and Individual Retirement Accounts end up saving more than those who contribute to only one. The study also found that savings increased if employees had financial advice. The report comes as more companies cut back on pension plans. Those with combined accounts has more than twice those who only used 401(k)S.
