Vegas Hotel Settles NLRB Complaint, Recognizes Union
In a settlement made regarding an unfair labor practice complaint, Palace Station hotel and casino has agreed to recognize its worker's union. Stations Casino LLC released a statement attributing their settlement of the case to a desire to avoid "lengthy, disruptive, and distracting" proceedings with the NLRB. As a result of the settlement, Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union Local 165 intend to move forward with collective bargaining shortly. The Culinary Workers union is currently negotiating with Boulder Station Casino, a sister property to the Palace Station.
