On April 22nd, employees of Boeing's South Carolina facility will vote to unionize. As many as 3,000 people are expected to participate in the upcoming election. South Carolina is a strongly anti-union state led by Governor Nikki Haley. The union organizing this election, the International Association for Machinists and Aerospace Workers, already represents 33,000 Boeing employees on the west coast.
