Wal-Mart to change pay policy
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that at its annual shareholders meeting today, Walmart is expected to introduce a new compensation policy for hourly workers that is expected to tie pay more closely to job responsibilities. The plan is expected to give raises for new workers but would penalize higher-paid long time employees. Walmart declined to comment.
