In 2015, Walmart will hire approximately 60,000 seasonal employees to work in its stores during the holidays. These employees will be placed within the company's 4,588 U.S. stores. In February, the company spent approximately $1 billion to raise its entry level wage to $9 an hour. This holiday season, Walmart will also be adding more department managers to 3,500 of its U.S. stores.
