Wal-Mart Violated Labor Law, Court Rules
A federal appeals court ruled that Wal-Mart violated U.S. labor law when it disciplined an employee for wearing a union T-shirt and telling co-workers about a union meeting. The court found no evidence that the employee?s actions interfered with the operation of the store. However, the court did allow Wal-Mart to sanction the employee for asking another worker to sign a union authorization card.
