Wall Street Journal Announces Rankings on Most Sustainably Managed Companies
The Wall Street Journal recently announced their new ranking of the 100 Most Sustainably Managed Companies. Tatung and Kering were found to be at the top of that list. Kering, is a French luxury good conglomerate that owns both Gucci and Balenciaga. The company measures and monitors the environmental impact of its supply chain and operations, and publishes its findings in an environmental profit-and-loss statement, which assigns a monetary value to the environmental footprint of its products like leather bags or cashmere sweaters. Tatung is a Taiwanese conglomerate whose products range from rice cookers to smart meters. Tatung has made it regular practice to analyze the entirety of their supply chain and disclosing the carbon footprint of all of their products.
