Walmart to End Health Coverage for 30,000 Part-Time Workers
Walmart announced Tuesday that it will no longer offer health insurance to employees working less than 30 hours a week. This policy change was announced Tuesday in response to the Affordable Healthcare Act. As of January 1st, 2015 the Affordable Care Act will fine all companies with at least 50 employees who do not provide health insurance to employees working more than 30 hours a week.
