For a continent that needs truck drivers, computer specialists, doctors, dentists, nurses, and a multitude of other laborers, Poland is fast becoming a recruitment center. Poles are reliable, cheap labor, and unlike workers in some Central European nations, such as the Czech Republic, they have few opportunities at home. Tens of thousands of Poles are peering west to escape an 18% unemployment rate at home.
