Since the pandemic and subsequent surge in e-commerce, there has been an increase in businesses setting up warehouse facilities near Reno, Nevada. However, in addition to bringing new jobs to the area, this rapid growth has also caused prices to rise. The cost of living has risen exponentially in Reno and made it more challenging for residents to afford the area. This has caused many workers to feel unsupported by their employers as wages have not kept pace with this growth.
