Wegmans Cuts Some Part-Time Workers' Health Benefits As Obamacare Looms
Wegmans supermarket has recently made changes to the extent of their employee health coverage in light of the approaching implementation of the Affordable Care Act. The company has a reputable history in providing care for their employees, and has surprised the industry with removing part-time employees from their previously offered health benefits. Many critics have accused the company of skirting the act. The change may, however, benefit part-time employees who will be provided care through their state.
